Description
The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a clear understanding of disability income insurance including; a full description of disability insurance with definitions and an explanation of provisions, an overview of the principal disability rider benefits, and a look into disability income underwriting. This course will also explain the primary sources of disability income benefits, special coverage disability insurance policies, and the taxation of disability coverage.

Rules for Florida Insurance Continuing Education

- Starting in 2022, the state of Florida's Bureau of Licensing has asked all education providers to implement course controls within their online content to ensure coursework is not rapidly skimmed through to access the final exam. Florida insurance continuing education will require you to complete an Affidavit of Personal Responsibility as part of the final exam process. The affidavit is now completed online prior to taking the final exam.
