  • We do. It is the responsibility of the provider to submit a record of your course completion to the state’s CE regulator. This is usually reported within 1 business day of your successful course completion.

It is your responsibility to verify that the credits are accurately reflected on your transcript. While it is rare, we ask that you report any errors or discrepancies within 10 days of your course completion.

  • No. InsuranceStudy's full course catalog can be completed entirely online.

  • Yes. InsuranceStudy has been approved as a certified insurance continuing education provider in all 50 states and Washington D.C. for over twenty years. We are also an approved sponsor with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

  • A score of 70% or higher on the final exam is considered a passing grade.

  • In order to be eligible for a course refund, the student must request a refund in writing within one year of the purchase date. To be eligible for a refund, the course must be intact, meaning the student has not yet begun the course material. If the student is entitled to a refund, InsuranceStudy will refund the full purchase price using the original method of payment.

If the student has already started the course material, the student is eligible for a full refund of any state roster fees and 50% of the course price, or they may exchange to a different course of the same or greater value with any difference in price due at the time of the exchange.

In the event the exam has been accessed, no refund or exchange shall be granted.

  • InsuranceStudy was built with security as a priority. Any connection with our systems is encrypted via industry-standard SSL for your protection. All sensitive information is further encrypted before storage, and your credit card number is not saved in our system. Please refer to our Privacy commitment for more information.

  • On average, credits are processed within 1-2 business days. In most cases, courses completed Monday through Friday prior to 3:00 PM CT will be processed on the same business day. In order for courses with state mandated affidavits or proctored exams to be processed, all paperwork must be completed and submitted to our office by email, fax, or mail.

If after one week your transcript does not reflect your course completion, please feel free to contact our support team to determine if there are any issues that need additional attention.

  • Check your My Courses dashboard on our website to determine the status of your course.

    If the status is Processed:

Make sure that the credit for the course is the type of credit needed for your transcript. For example, if you are looking for credits on your state insurance transcript and you completed a course only for LTC credit and do not see ICE credit listed then that credit was not selected and will not be reported to the state. You may contact our support team at any time to determine the status of your course and confirm the credits you purchased with your course.

    If the status is Processing:

Please bear with us for 1-2 business days to report your completion. If it has been longer than that, you may call or email us for a status update. It is rare for it to take longer than 3 business days to process a course and you should feel free to escalate the matter with our management at that time. Not that our offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday so courses completed on Friday are expected to be processed by the end of the business day on Tuesday at the latest. This timeline is true for all online courses. Webinar and classroom training programs are subject to a lengthier turnaround and should be processed within 10 days of your course completion.

If the status is Missing Information:

Please call or email our office immediately as the state rejected our attempts to post the credit and we need your assistance. This is often the result of a typo when you provided your license, NPN, or last name.

If the status is Missing Affidavit:

Our office is still waiting on the receipt of additional paperwork such as an Affidavit of Personal Responsibility or Proctor Form. We are not allowed to process your credits with the state until that paperwork has been received and filed with your course record. If you were prompted to complete additional paperwork during the course and have yet to turn that in, please be sure to get that to our office as soon as possible so that we may file your credits with the state. A confirmation email will be sent to you once we have recorded your paperwork in our system.

  • Our courses are tracked and managed in such a way that you should be able to pick up where you left off at any time. Simply relaunching the material should prompt you to resume from the point where you lost your connection.

  • It is a regulatory requirement that final exams be completed in one sitting. When you enter your course again the exam will be restarted from the beginning, with a new randomized test.

  • Each state determines the requirements for an online exam. You will be alerted prior to your purchase, and reminded throughout your course, if a monitor/proctor is required in your state.

  • Each state defines this term in a slightly different way, and you should always check with the specific rules of your state as to who may monitor/proctor an exam. A general rule of thumb is that a disinterested third party would be anyone without a vested interest in the outcome of your exam. This means that the person is not a friend, family member and not in your direct line of employment (your supervisor or an employee of yours). It should be someone with no potential gain or loss with regard to the success or failure of your exam results.

  • Once your course has been processed with the state, a Certificate of Completion will be available on your My Courses dashboard on this website. Should you need any assistance you may contact our customer support team, and they will be able to email you a duplicate copy. We will never charge for additional certificates.

  • InsuranceStudy is a DBA of Net Study, LLC. NetStudy began back in 1998 as an internet company for the delivery of professional online education. InsuranceStudy was developed as the insurance branch of that company and was the primary focus of the organization for over ten years. In 2010 there was an internal restructuring which led to two major decisions. First, the website underwent a major redesign with updated technology and a strong focus on user friendliness and speed. Secondly, the decision was made to go back to our roots providing technologically advanced professional education in multiple verticals.

Phase I launched successfully in June 2011 which collectively brought back the NetStudy name and launched the www.netstudy.com education platform and website.

Phase II was launched June 2012 and with brought the full NetStudy product line which focuses on comprehensive education solutions for licensed professionals. InsuranceStudy continues to run on the NetStudy education platform as do many other education providers in the insurance marketplace. At www.netstudy.com you can find more information on our education services available to businesses, educators, administrators, and students.

Whether you are working with NetStudy or InsuranceStudy, you can always expect the same level of customer service and quality products as we have provided for over a decade.
